James Haddad is a trumpet player, composer, and arranger from Brooklyn, New York. He is a recent graduate of Columbia University, and a current graduate student at the Juilliard School where he studies with renowned faculty including Joe Magnarelli and Gerald Cannon. James is an active member of New York’s jazz scene and has also performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Montclair Jazz Festival, and the Vail Jazz Festival in addition to premier jazz clubs across the country. At the age of 23, James has had the privilege of working with and playing alongside musicians including, Robert Glasper, Orrin Evans, Donald Vega, Wynton Marsalis, and many more.
