After running the kitchen of Quality Italian, chefs Angie Rito and Scott Tacinelli relocated downtown to start something of their own. Don Angie, an Italian-American eatery, sits on the corner of Greenwich Avenue in the heart of the West Village. It’s become an elevated neighborhood spot with a saucy take on old-school Italian dishes and a strong cocktail game to match. On the menu: garganelli with meatball ragu, stuffed garlic flatbread, and lasagna for two.
