HENRIK VIBSKOV
A self-described aficionado of Woody Allen and Andy Warhol, for the Scandinavian musician, artist, and fashion designer, Henrik Vibskov, Manhattan was the obvious choice for his coming to America. A lower Soho retail shop at 456 Broome to be exact, Vibskov’s 850 square foot downtown boutique is clustered with oxidized golden wood that climbs the walls, reconstructed Danish furniture and an eye-catching installation he describes as “A lot of triangles dropping out of the wall wrapped with white robe and painted red corners.” The collections feature unique accents of vibrant colors, wooden beads, and soft leathers. For accessories, take a peak at statement jewelry and head-turning footwear from international brands including Cosmic Wonder, Uslu Airlines, Sabrina Dehoff, Peter Jenson, Juliba, Stine Goya and S.N.S Herning. Henrick also says the space reminds him of his Denmark apartment, further proof that he’s right at home in New York City.
