Ambitious in scale, design, and service, Legacy Records in Hudson Yards comprise an elegant 85-seat restaurant, all-day cafe, two private dining rooms, and a cocktail and wine bar. Thanks to its all-star lineup of industry heavyweights, this spot makes the case for venturing above 14th Street, even if only to try the duck for two paired with a cocktail dreamed up by master mixologist Jeff Bell from P.D.T. (Please Don’t Tell). The menu is seasonal and if you ask us, you can’t really go wrong. Chef Ryan Hardy brings together fresh, flavorful cuisine inspired by Italy’s northern coasts including a mix of Mediterranean crudos, pasta, roasted dishes, and the wine list is the handiwork of Arvid Rosengren who holds the title of ‘Best Sommelier in the World.’ Legacy Records is open nightly for dinner and on the weekends for brunch.
