This petite French bistro located on a quiet Greenwich Village block is big in all the right ways. The food, classic French cooking, is full of flavor and Parisian flair, as is the interior, which seats diners in blue velvet banquettes or at the marble bar. The menu is updated daily ensuring dishes are seasonal and fresh—so if you spot raw fish on the menu, don’t think twice. The best way forth, in our opinion, is to opt for the chef’s tasting, which will set you back $75 but for four savory courses and one dessert, it is well worth it. As for drinks, Mimi has a full bar including a comprehensive wine list of both imported and domestic wines. Mimi is open for dinner all week long, and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
