Pietro Nolita
“Pink as f**k” is the slogan for SoHo’s latest and most vibrant addition to Elizabeth Street: Pietro Nolita. The intimate 30-seat restaurant is a colorful oasis with a menu delivering light versions of Italian mainstays with a great cocktail list.
The owners, Pietro Quaglia, and Mina Soliman of Indochine, are old friends and first-time business partners. Together they have created a unique ambiance composed of a crowd filled with notable people in fashion and the arts.
Italian native Pietro Quaglia credits his mother, Patrizia Ferrario of Milan as the inspiration behind the restaurant’s cuisine. Ferrario even flew in before the opening to train the kitchen in her techniques, you can taste the authenticity in every dish. A must try is their classic handmade Spaghetto Al Pomodoro paired with the Nolitarian cocktail and finished with their tiramisu. Magnifico!
The restaurant takes no reservations and does fill up rather quickly so get there early as seating is limited.
