The Meadow

Founder and proprietor Mark Bitterman is the man to thank for bringing his expertise in salts, artisanal chocolates and bitters to our town. For those serious about their specialty goods, this is the place. Elemental ingredients and pantry items are curated by experts and arranged on library-like shelves. Slabs of small-batch bitters and 350-plus chocolates sourced from around the world are displayed in full glory. No one country dominates as a source: many of The Meadow’s salts are from France, but these seasonings truly come from all over the world. If you go in searching for salt from Bali, Cyprus, India, or Slovenia, you will find it.
